Job summary

GE HealthCare seeks a Service Director to oversee biomedical service operations across the Pacific Northwest. You will lead a team of biomedical technicians located at customer sites, travel up to 2 weeks per month, and ensure high-quality service delivery for biomedical equipment.

You will manage customer relationships, coordinate service activities, and drive performance, with a focus on leadership, technical excellence, and strategic collaboration to maximize equipment uptime.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or military equivalent with 4+ years in medical services.
• Associate’s degree with 6+ years in medical services.
• High School Diploma/GED with 10+ years in medical services.
• Leadership experience including leading technical teams.
• Ability to travel up to 50%.
• Ability to work from home in a dedicated office with reliable internet.
• Authorized to work in the U.S. and not eligible for visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Serve as single point of contact to customers for timely resolution of concerns across supported services.
• Maintain knowledge of region, coverage area, and product lines to connect customers with internal teams.
• Establish and maintain ongoing technical and business support with assigned customers.
• Demonstrate people leadership, hiring and developing talent within the team.
• Apply advanced technical and analytical thinking to policy/strategy execution.
• Understand market dynamics and how areas integrate with others to differentiate in the market.
• Use judgment to propose solutions beyond standard parameters for complex processes.
• Lead small projects with low risk and resource needs; guide team members to consensus.
