Job summary

Cerapedics is a global orthopedics company focused on bone repair and healing. This Development Engineer role in Westminster will contribute to biomaterial, coating, and product technologies to advance bone graft solutions and improve patient outcomes.

You will design and evaluate new materials, create prototypes, optimize for manufacturing, and support tech transfer into production, while documenting results and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• BS in Biomedical or Materials Science Engineering with 3-5 years experience.
• Masters in Biomedical or Materials Science Engineering with 1-3 years experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop processing methods for ceramics-based biomaterials.
• Design prototypes and evaluate product concepts for bone grafts.
• Collaborate with Commercial and cross-functional teams on new product concepts.
• Document results in accordance with good laboratory practices.
• Support technology transfer to manufacturing and scale-up activities.
