Job summary

BioTalent is seeking a Project Engineer, Biomaterials to lead the full product development lifecycle from concept to commercial launch. You will collaborate with surgeons, product management, operations, and regulatory teams to deliver biomaterial-based medical devices across regenerative medicine, tissue engineering, and drug delivery applications.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of engineering experience, ideally within medical devices.
• Master's degree in Biomedical Engineering or related field.

• Experience with in vivo studies related to tissue regeneration, wound healing, drug delivery, or implantable materials.

BioTalent is supporting a leading medical device organization in the search for a Project Engineer, Biomaterials. This is an opportunity to take ownership of the full product development lifecycle, from concept and design through verification, validation, regulatory approval, manufacturing, and commercial launch.

You'll work closely with surgeons, product management, operations, and regulatory teams to develop innovative biomaterial-based products used across regenerative medicine, tissue engineering, and drug delivery applications.

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years of engineering experience, ideally within medical devices.
• Master's degree in Biomedical Engineering or a related discipline.
• Strong experience with biomaterials including hydrogels, scaffolds, coatings, porous materials, or similar technologies.
• Experience with in vivo studies relating to tissue regeneration, wound healing, drug delivery, implantable materials, or regenerative medicine.
• Ability to lead cross‑functional projects in a fast‑paced development environment.
