Job summary

Sprague’s NE Renewable Power is seeking a Boiler Operator in Tamworth, NH. The SPO will operate and maintain boiler systems, monitor PLC-based controls, and perform preventive maintenance to ensure safe, reliable power generation.

Strong teamwork and safety awareness are essential. The role requires high school diploma or equivalent with 1–2 years in power plant settings, plus valid driver's license and basic computer skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Technical education or 1-2 years’ power plant experience preferred.
• Familiarity with PLC-based controls is a plus.
• Valid driver's license and basic math/computer skills required.
• Good verbal communication and teamwork essential.

Responsibilities

• Start-up, operate, shutdown and secure equipment in the field.
• Follow safety protocols and OSHA training requirements.
• Troubleshoot and perform preventative maintenance.
• Maintain logs of plant operations and inspections.
• Supervise or coordinate contractors as needed.
• Ensure compliance with environmental and safety policies.
