Responsibilities

• Start-up, operate, shutdown and secure equipment under normal and emergency conditions.
• Troubleshoot and perform mechanical skills such as pipefitting, boiler repair and pump alignment.
• Inspect facility machinery for malfunctions or potential failures.
• Maintain logs and records of operating conditions and deviations.
• Assist in water chemistry tests and control treatment chemicals.
• Identify hazardous conditions and take corrective action.
• Monitor plant equipment performance and ensure safe, reliable power generation.
• Perform routine and complex maintenance as assigned.
