bioMérieux in Illinois seeks a Scientist to identify biomarkers, receptor occupancy, target engagement and PD assays. You will collaborate with immunology, oncology, chemistry, protein engineering and biomarker groups while delivering clear verbal and written communications.

Primary duties include developing flow cytometry panels on the Accellix platform, validating assays, and contributing to automated analysis software. GMP-compliant documentation and cross-functional teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Cell Biology, Molecular Biology or Biochemistry with 5+ years of flow cytometry experience.
• Alternative: HS Diploma/GED with 9+ years in flow cytometry and multicolor assays.
• Experience with antibody titrations and multicolor panel optimization.

Responsibilities

• Develop and qualify flow cytometry assay panels on the Accellix platform.
• Collaborate cross-functionally, verify/validate assays per plans.
• Analyze data and provide feedback for automated analysis software.
• Follow GMP, document procedures, maintain inventory.
• Draft/edit protocols for assay kits and assist tech transfer.
• Present project updates and lead discussions with teams and customers.
• Foster teamwork and address issues to meet deadlines.
