Job summary

San Jacinto College in Houston is seeking a Lab Technician, Biomanufacturing for Generation Park to support daily operations of the Biomanufacturing Laboratory facilities. Under the Lab Manager, you will set up equipment, assist with training sessions, and monitor safety and cleanliness.

Requires an associate degree and 1–2 years lab experience; proficient with MS 365; attention to detail and willingness to learn new processes; position includes onsite work with potential limited remote tasks.

Qualifications

Associate degree or commensurate experience in a lab setting.
Ability to follow SOPs and safety protocols.
Strong attention to detail and record-keeping.
Proficiency with MS 365 (Word, Excel, SharePoint).
Good written and verbal communication; teamwork.

Responsibilities

Set up and break down laboratory spaces for hands-on training.
Perform routine cleaning, calibration checks, and basic troubleshooting on lab equipment.
Assist with inventory management of reagents, PPE, and supplies.
Follow safety protocols and maintain a safe work environment.
Provide technical support to instructors during training sessions.
Maintain equipment usage logs and inventory records using logs and MS 365 tools.
