Zusammenfassung

BioLabs is seeking a Lab Operations Associate to join the graduation space at BioLabs Pegasus Park. Reporting to the Lab Operations Manager, the role will assist in routine maintenance of a shared laboratory facility while responding to the laboratory and facility-related requests of resident companies and staff.

This hands-on role offers the opportunity to support promising startups in their formative years while developing laboratory operations skills in a state-of-the-art biotechnology

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in biology/chemistry, genetics, or related life sciences.
• Minimum of one year experience in a lab environment with equipment maintenance and waste management.
• Familiarity with cellular, molecular, and microbiology techniques.
• Strong customer service orientation and proactive work ethic.
• Attention to quality control and excellence.
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Must be able to lift over 50 pounds and stand for long periods.
• Occasional after-hours availability and on-call rotation.

Aufgaben

• Assist with management of laboratory and facility spaces and ordering.
• Support equipment management, installations, calibrations, and maintenance.
• Assist onboarding/offboarding of residents, including safety and badge access.
• Support site EHS programs and hazardous waste activities.
• Collaborate to build resident community culture and customer service excellence.
• Perform other duties as needed.
