Qualifications

• Master's degree in subject area (Chemistry, Microbiology, or Anatomy) OR Master's degree in another subject with 18+ graduate hours in subject area
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret materials related to area of expertise and communicate effectively
• Ability to perform basic calculations relevant to course material and student assessments
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.) and any software required for course delivery

Responsibilities

• Instruction and Curriculum Delivery: prepares lessons and materials aligned with curriculum and accreditation requirements
• Maintains regular communication with students regarding progress, attendance, and performance
• Participates in student orientation, clubs, and career services events to support engagement
• Assessment and Program Improvement: regularly assesses learning outcomes and contributes to program reviews
• Stays current with industry trends and best practices in academia
• Collaboration and Faculty Development: participates in department meetings and faculty development activities
• Ensures compliance with accreditation standards and documents records in required systems
• Other Duties: supports program director and campus leadership as needed
