Guidehouse Inc. in Bethesda is seeking a Biologist-level professional to assist with basic lab experiments, collect and analyze biological data, and manage samples, supplies, and equipment.

The role includes learning new techniques and supporting investigations through careful documentation and data processing. The candidate will work with rodent models, manage mouse colonies, and prepare summaries of findings for presentations and publications.

Formación

• Master's degree in biology or related field.
• Minimum 1 year of relevant laboratory experience.
• Experience with laboratory techniques and data analysis.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a laboratory setting with small animals (rodents).
• Experience with computational analysis of microscopy data.
• Experience working with transgenic mice and managing mouse colonies.
• Strong organizational skills for maintaining lab samples, supplies, and documentation.
• Ability to perform repetitive lab activities and handle standard lab equipment safely.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Federal or DoD "public trust"; candidates with an active public trust or suitability are preferred.

What You Will Need:

• Experience working with transgenic mice and managing mouse colonies.


• Strong organizational skills for maintaining lab samples, supplies, and documentation.

What Would Be Nice To Have:

• Familiarity with state-of-the-art confocal microscopy systems.


• Experience with sample preparation techniques for confocal microscopy.


• Exposure to scientific literature review and technical writing for research environments.

The annual salary range for this position is $56,000.00-$94,000.00.
