Job summary

Catalent’s Madison, Wisconsin site is a state-of-the-art biologics development and manufacturing facility supporting customers from research through early‑ and mid‑stage clinical production. The Buyer/Planner II – Supply Chain role focuses on timely procurement of materials and effective planning to meet production schedules in a 100% onsite environment in Madison, WI.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, or related field is required.
• 3+ years of experience in supply chain, inventory management, procurement, or related fields.

Responsibilities

• Procure materials from approved suppliers and resolve shortages to support on-time production.
• Maintain purchasing and planning master data including item setups, lead times, restocking levels.
• Track and report purchasing and inventory performance metrics.
• Develop and maintain production schedule based on customer requirements, material availability, and capacity.
• Create and monitor manufacturing work orders, BOMs, and inventory system changes.
• Communicate schedule updates and material risks in cross-functional planning meetings.
• Support new product introductions, BOM updates, and quality system requirements related to planning and purchasing.
• Collaborate with internal teams and suppliers to improve processes and maintain reports.
