Lonza Associate Director, Project Delivery AMER in Vacaville, CA, leads high-impact capital projects from concept through startup/commissioning. You’ll coordinate engineering, operations, automation, and CQV partners to deliver compliant, cost-effective solutions for biologics manufacturing.

The role is site-based, emphasizing real-time collaboration and precision in delivering medicines of tomorrow, with a broad scope across multiple streams and external partners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field.
• Extensive experience in technical project management and project engineering.
• Broad technical understanding across engineering disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Plan, manage, and execute capital investment projects across engineering, design, construction, and commissioning phases.
• Act as Technical Project Manager for biologics processing projects with leadership across disciplines.
• Lead cross-functional teams and coordinate with operations, procurement, and vendors.
• Ensure safety, quality, and regulatory compliance per internal procedures and health authority requirements.
• Manage budgets, schedules, resources, and risks; communicate progress to stakeholders.
