Job summary

Lonza Group in Vacaville is seeking an End-to-End Project Lead to plan, manage, and deliver asset modifications for enabling product‑agnostic capabilities. You will own cost, scope and schedule across large, complex projects with direct impact on regulatory readiness and cGMP compliance.

The role emphasizes strategic execution, cross‑functional leadership, and rigorous governance within a site-based manufacturing context.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Life Science, Engineering or Business Management required.
• Master’s degree preferred for advanced roles.
• PMP Project Manager Certification preferred.
• Lean Manufacturing and Lean Six Sigma credentials highly desired.
• 10+ years of manufacturing/operations experience in regulated industries.

Responsibilities

• Strategic Project Execution: define scope and goals with stakeholders and ensure alignment with business case.
• Engineering Design & Delivery: translate requirements into technical design to meet cost, timeline and functionality targets.
• PM Framework & Governance: establish contractual frameworks and manage scope changes with Engineering leadership.
• Operational Excellence: integrate downtime into master schedules and drive cross‑functional validation across CAPEX and procurement.
• Leadership & Development: build high‑performing project teams with mentorship and feedback.
• Communication & Mediation: facilitate information flow between Global Engineering and steering committees.
• Regulatory & Compliance: lead operational readiness and mitigation plans for cGMP compliance and regulatory approval.
