We are currently hiring a Biological Process Engineer to support wastewater treatment systems, help launch new projects, and optimize system performance. This role offers growth potential within our expanding company.

Responsibilities:

• Review process design requirements for biological wastewater projects utilizing Nuvoda’s MOB Process.
• Perform process modeling (e.g., SUMO, BioWin, Simba, GPS-X) for MOB projects.
• Create customer proposals using standard tools.
• Support sales through customer calls and site visits.
• Specify and procure equipment, and develop project and product costs.
• Conduct on-site walk-throughs with clients and engineers.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting during start-ups and operations.
• Monitor, gather, and analyze process data.
• Interface with client operations and project personnel.
• Train operations and laboratory teams.
• Complete installation and startup documentation.
• Communicate with team members, customers, and suppliers regarding design modifications.
• Prepare engineering drawings to support projects.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in aerobic wastewater system design or equipment design.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering; PE certification is a plus.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD or similar software.
• Experience with wastewater process modeling (SUMO, BioWin, Simba, GPS-X) is a strong asset.
• Excellent communication skills, attention to detail.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to develop customer solutions.
• Organized, able to multi-task, prioritize, and meet deadlines.
• Eager to learn and grow in a fast-growing company.
• Passionate about improving wastewater treatment for environmental compliance.
• Position is remote (USA) or based in Raleigh, NC.
• Willingness to travel up to 25% to project sites and meetings.
