PhD in Physics, Biophysics, Chemical Physics or related field.
Proven ability to perform independent research.
Demonstrated track record of publication in peer-reviewed journals and delivering presentations at major conferences.
Clear and concise oral and written communication and interpersonal and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

Teach undergraduate and/or graduate courses in the Department of Physics and Astronomy.
Establish a vigorous, externally funded research program with long-term vision.
Mentor graduate students and postdoctoral researchers.
Collaborate with Laufer Center and other departments within the university.
Participate in departmental, university and professional service.
