• PhD required in Physics, Biophysics, Chemical Physics or related field.
• Demonstrated ability to perform independent research and publish in peer‑reviewed journals.
• Strong oral and written communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Teach undergraduate and/or graduate courses in Physics and Astronomy.
• Mentor graduate students and postdocs; supervise research projects.
• Establish and lead an externally funded research program with long‑term vision.
• Participate in departmental, university and professional service.
• Collaborate with Laufer Center and contribute to Biological Physics PhD concentration; present at seminars and conferences.
