Job summary

Qualifications

  • PhD from an accredited institution in Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, CS, Structural Biology or related field.
  • Demonstrated expertise in computational biology, protein sequence/structure analysis, or design methodologies.
  • Strong programming skills in Python, R, and experience with Git and HPC environments.
  • Ability to communicate results and collaborate across multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct computational research supporting protein design, engineering, and structural biology initiatives.
  • Develop and apply pipelines for sequence, structure, and functional analysis.
  • Contribute to data capture, management, and curation for ML/AI datasets.
  • Support data infrastructure, standards, and workflow automation for reproducibility.
  • Create software tools and analyses using Python, R, and related languages.
  • Collaborate with biologists, data scientists, and software engineers to deliver scalable solutions.
  • Mentor junior scientists and promote best practices in bioinformatics and data management.
