Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience analyzing bioinformatics workflows, data types, and analytical use cases such as genomics, sequencing data, pipelines, or surveillance analytics
• Knowledge of common bioinformatics, life sciences, or public health data platforms or analytical tools
• Knowledge of front-end or back-end technologies used for application development, including SQL, NoSQL databases, or web-based interactive user interfaces
• Knowledge of Agile, Scrum, Kanban, or SAFe delivery environments
• Ability to lead client and stakeholder discussions, ask the right questions, document clear requirements, and translate them into actionable implementation steps
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination based on client requirements
• Master’s degree

Responsibilities

• Translate scientific and public health needs into platform requirements, roadmaps, and product features
• Collaborate with product managers, enterprise architects, and engineering teams
• Coordinate cross-disciplinary teams (bioinformatics, data science, cloud, infrastructure) to ensure alignment
• Support governance with KPIs, success metrics, outcomes
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and backlog refinement
