The role offers broad technical growth, collaboration with engineers, chemists and data scientists, and opportunities to contribute to manuscripts and patents while maintaining safety and reproducibility in a dynamic lab

Qualifications

• Ph.D. in Biochemistry or related field or MS with 4+ years of experience, or BS with 6+ years of experience.
• Experience optimizing quantitative biochemical assays.
• Strong problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams.
• Experience with reagent development for instrumentation is a plus.
• Interest in analysis of large datasets, scripting, or coding to interpret experiments is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop reagents and assay workflows; optimize robustness.
• Integrate reagents and workflows with prototype, pre-production and production instruments.
• Develop and validate analytical assays (plate reader, HPLC) to assess activity and stability.
• Collaborate with engineers, chemists, and data scientists to achieve goals.
• Design, execute and lead engineering studies and cross-functional collaborations.
• Communicate results clearly; prepare reports and manuscripts/patents.
• Document methods, prepare SOPs, and support lab organization and safety.
