Job summary

Azenta Life Sciences is hiring a Biobank Technician I to support registration, labeling, retrieval and disposal of biological materials while maintaining strict temperature controls. You will follow SOPs, ensure chain of custody, and use our inventory system to manage samples and related shipments.

The role requires a high school diploma and at least two years' teamwork and attention to detail, with life sciences experience preferred and GMP/GTP/CLIA familiarity; work locations include

Qualifications

• Two years’ experience demonstrating teamwork, self-motivation, detail orientation, and professionalism.
• Life Sciences experience preferred.
• GMP/GTP/CLIA Experience, preferred.

Responsibilities

• Register, label, retrieve, and discard materials while maintaining required temperatures.
• Follow SOPs and regulatory standards (GMP/GTP/GLP/ISO/CAP) as outlined in SOPs.
• Use inventory management system for sample handling and maintain chain of custody.
• Store and retrieve materials; perform quality control checks on shipments and lab services.
• Investigate and document issues in registration or retrieval using company systems.
