Job summary

Global Solutions Network, Inc. (GSN) seeks a Biobank Assay Specialist to support NIH at Bethesda, MD. You will oversee robotic PhIP-Seq operations and provide biospecimen processing support while learning flow cytometry and other assays.

The role requires lab technique proficiency, meticulous data logging, and inventory management in a dynamic biospecimen core setting with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• MLS/Medical Technology degree or equivalent required; CAP/CLIA experience preferred.
• 2–4 years hands-on biomedical laboratory experience in related settings.
• Experience with vacutainers, NGS library prep, PCR and biofluids handling.
• Ability to maintain accurate sample records, logs and audit trails.

Responsibilities

• Plan, execute and document lab experiments and new techniques.
• Operate PhIP-Seq, flow cytometry, ELISA and related assays per protocols.
• Manage samples and inventory; maintain records and equipment readiness.
• Analyze data, prepare reports and ensure quality control compliance.
