Job summary

Lilly in Boston, MA is seeking a scientist for Analytical Development within the ADS organization. You will develop and implement bioassays supporting formulation, process development, and product release for RNA-LNP therapies.

Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's in molecular biology, biochemistry, or related field with 3–6 years of bioassay development experience.
Hands‑on experience with cell‑based potency assays and/or other bioassays.
Hands‑on experience in mammalian cell culture.
Authorized to work in the United States full-time; Lilly will not sponsor visas.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement assays to characterize LNP drug product potency and impurities.
Conduct sample testing with platforms: cell-based assays, flow cytometry, qPCR, ELISA.
Evaluate assay performance for data reliability and project decisions.
Troubleshoot analytical issues and propose solutions.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet timelines.
Analyze data, present findings, and make actionable recommendations.
Author test protocols, qualification reports, and technical documents.
Lifecycle management of reference materials and reagents.
Track and implement innovative bioassay techniques.
