Qualifications

• PhD with 10+ years in assay development and 5+ years in a leadership role.
• Experience leading analytical development teams for advanced cell and gene therapeutics.
• Deep, hands-on experience in LC-MS and separation sciences for characterizing RNA cargos, lipids, and nanoparticles.

Responsibilities

• Establish vision and roadmap for analytical development functions, including platforms for RNA-LNP therapies.
• Provide organizational leadership aligned with company objectives.
• Recruit, mentor, and retain scientific talent of a diverse team.
• Partner with research, formulation, process, manufacturing, quality, and regulatory teams to define product CQAs and assess developability.
• Lead development, optimization, and qualification of analytical methods and testing programs.
• Keep abreast of emerging analytical technologies and drive innovative solutions for RNA cargos and nanoparticles.
• Author and review technical reports and regulatory submission sections.
• Identify external collaborations to enhance capabilities and represent Lilly at scientific meetings.
