Job summary

Guidehouse is seeking a scientific professional to culture and maintain immortalized cell lines under air-liquid interface conditions, and to optimize transcytosis and permeation bioassays evaluating antibody transport across polarized epithelial layers.

You will validate bioassays, perform qRT-PCR, ELISA, Western blotting, and immunohistochemistry, and document data in electronic notebooks for FDA-related research.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is required.
• Minimum four years of hands-on laboratory experience in cell-based assay development.
• Experience with mammalian cell culture and in vitro model systems.
• Experience with qRT-PCR, ELISA, western blotting, or immunohistochemistry.
• Ability to design, optimize, validate bioassays against defined criteria.
• Strong documentation, data analysis, writing, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Culture and maintain immortalized cell lines under air-liquid interface conditions.
• Optimize transcytosis and permeation bioassays for antibody transport across epithelial layers.
• Validate bioassays for reproducibility, sensitivity, and specificity.
• Perform hands-on lab work including qRT-PCR, ELISA, western blotting, IHC.
• Collect and document laboratory data in accordance with FDA standards.
• Maintain electronic notebooks with rolling documentation.
• Contribute to scientific summaries, reports, and presentations.
