Job summary

Guidehouse is seeking a skilled scientist to support FDA bioassay projects at the White Oak Campus. You will culture immortalized cell lines, optimize transcytosis assays, and validate bioassays for accuracy and reproducibility, following FDA SOPs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required with hands-on lab experience in cell-based assay development.
• Minimum four years of hands-on laboratory experience requested.
• Experience with mammalian cell culture and in vitro model systems.
• Ability to document data clearly and reproducibly per SOPs.

Responsibilities

• Culture and maintain immortalized cell lines under air-liquid interface conditions.
• Optimize transcytosis and permeation bioassays across polarized epithelial layers.
• Validate bioassays for reproducibility, sensitivity, and specificity.
• Perform hands-on lab work using cell culture and analytical techniques.
• Maintain electronic lab notebooks and record data with no gaps.
• Prepare scientific summaries, reports, and presentations; participate in team discussions.
