ICON is seeking a Scientist II for Bioanalytical-LC/MS in the Greater Kansas City area. You will join a diverse team responsible for the preparation and analysis of biological samples, ensuring data integrity and compliance with regulatory standards.

The role emphasizes LC-MS workflows, data interpretation, and collaboration with senior analysts to support project goals. Strong attention to detail and communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in biology, chemistry, or a related scientific field.
• BS and 3+ years of industry experience in LCMS and sample preparation, or MS and 1+ years in LCMS and sample preparation.
• Strong technical skills and proficiency in using laboratory equipment and software for data analysis and reporting.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to high-quality standards and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Perform assays on bioanalytical samples for pharmaceutical and chemical companies.
• Perform LC-MS assays for routine batch analysis of bioanalytical samples.
• Work in compliance with Study Plans, validation plans, and SOPs.
• Operate laboratory equipment and data collection/reporting systems.
• Ensure smooth transfer of data to PIs and assist in data interpretation.
• Train junior analysts on techniques and procedures.
