Job summary

NAMSA in Minnesota is seeking an Associate for bio/analytical applications to perform lab techniques, sample prep, extraction and GLP-compliant methods. You will maintain logs, prep reagents, and ensure timely testing per study protocol.

The role requires at least an associate degree in chemistry or related field and 1 year of experience; a bachelor's is preferred. Strong communication and willingness to work with equipment and on-call duties are valued.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or related field with 1 year of experience.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Knowledge of wet chemistry techniques, solvent handling, extraction fundamentals, and contamination control.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of bio/analytical techniques including weighing, preparation of standards and buffers, sample preparation requiring homogenization, extraction, filtration, and pipetting.
• Validate bio/analytical methods and GLP guidelines.
• Prepare and maintain reagents and test articles as required for testing.
• Ensure testing is performed within due dates and communicate test schedule updates to NAMSA management.
• Operate, clean, and maintain incubators, autoclaves, hoods, and other routinely used equipment.
• May be on-call and respond to alarms per SOPs.
• May perform gowning environmental testing and submit related data for trending.
