Job summary

NAMSA is seeking a Laboratory Technician to support routine test article preparation and testing within a GMP/GLP environment. You will perform data analysis, interpret results, and help maintain laboratory records and equipment.

The role requires a scientific degree or equivalent experience, familiarity with SOPs, and proficiency with NAMSA systems. Strong attention to detail and collaborative skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a scientific discipline relevant to the department.
• Awareness of guidelines/regulations (USP, ISO, CTFA, FSA, ICH, EP, JP).
• Knowledge of metric system and data evaluation.
• Capable of drafting SOPs, protocols and Trackwise records.
• Proficiency with NAMSA systems (LIMS, Trackwise, MasterControl).
• Ability to work in a GMP/GLP environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine test article preparation per work instructions.
• Execute routine testing per NAMSA SOPs and analyze data.
• Interpret results and escalate unusual findings to management.
• Provide on-the-job training when needed.
• Maintain test articles, cell lines and reagents for testing.
• Keep logbooks, worksheets and ancillary records up to date.
• Conduct routine studies independently and assist with more complex studies.
• Contribute to improvement of documents, test systems and workflows.
• Handle autoclave operations as required.
