Job summary

NAMSA in Saint Paul, MN seeks a Bio/Analytical Lab Associate to perform a range of laboratory techniques including weighing, solution prep, extraction, and routine test article preparation to support GLP-compliant testing.

You will maintain logs, ensure timely testing, and operate incubators, autoclaves, hoods, and related equipment. A related degree is required with 1 year of experience; a BA/BS is preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science or related field with 1 year of relevant experience.
• Bachelor’s degree is preferred for consideration.

Responsibilities

• Performs laboratory techniques including sample weighing, preparation of solutions, buffers, and sample prep.
• Validates bio/analytical methods and GLP adherence.
• Maintains a clean, organized work area and logs for chemical receipt.
• Operates incubators, autoclaves, hoods and related equipment.
• Communicates test schedule updates to NAMSA management.
• May assist with on-call responses and environmental testing.
