Job summary

Eurofins USA Agroscience Services is seeking an Associate Scientist to join the Chemistry team in Easton, MD. You will apply diverse analytical methods to test substances, prepare buffers, perform sample prep, and operate LC-UV, LC-MS/MS, GC-MS instruments under GLP guidelines.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s in chemistry/biochemistry/biology with 3 years of lab experience, or a Master’s in a relevant field.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 3 years of direct lab experience; GLP preferred.
• Master’s degree may substitute for bachelor’s degree and experience.
• Experience with analytical chemistry under GLP is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Use diverse analytical methods to investigate a test substance in a test system.
• Perform laboratory tasks: balances, volumes, buffer prep, pH, sample prep, and basic instrumentation.
• Handle data entry, calculations, and within SOP/GLP guidelines.
• Document work in notebooks and logs; maintain raw data binders.
• Contribute to data summaries and draft reports.
