Job summary

Spectraforce Technologies, Inc. is seeking an entry-level Bioanalyst I to join our Phase I clinical biomarker laboratory in New Haven, CT. This 12-month contract provides hands-on experience with human specimens in a regulated lab setting and a mix of bench and desk-based duties.

The role emphasizes developing laboratory skills, attention to detail, and proficiency with MS Office; occasional weekend support may be required during busy study periods.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Biology, Biochemistry, Chemistry, Immunology, or related science
• 1–3 years of laboratory experience preferred
• Basic lab skills including pipetting and safe specimen handling
• Understanding of sterile techniques and lab safety practices
• Strong attention to detail and quality mindset
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and stay organized
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Teams)
• Ability to learn new software systems and electronic lab notebooks quickly
