CyberCoders in Washington, DC is seeking an IP Litigation Associate with a strong bio-pharma background to join our intellectual property litigation team. The role focuses on patent disputes in pharma and biotech, including Hatch-Waxman/ANDA and Paragraph IV actions, PTAB proceedings, and federal appeals.

You will lead discovery, manage experts, coordinate with in-house counsel, and counsel clients on freedom-to-operate and IP due diligence while supporting prosecution and licensing efforts.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor degree and active bar admission in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
• 3+ years of patent litigation experience in bio-pharma matters preferred.
• Technical background in pharma sciences or molecular biology is desirable.
• Experience with Hatch-Waxman/ANDA, Paragraph IV and freedom-to-operate analyses.
• Strong written and oral advocacy, legal research, and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage and litigate patent disputes in bio-pharma space incl. Hatch-Waxman/ANDA.
• Draft briefs, motions, and appellate filings for Federal Circuit and other courts.
• Handle PTAB proceedings (IPR/PGR) and post-grant strategies.
• Perform infringement and validity analyses; prepare contentions and expert reports.
• Coordinate discovery, manage experts, and supervise junior team members.
• Advise on FDA interfaces, Orange Book, and IP portfolio due diligence.
