Job summary

AVS Bio is seeking a Farm Crew Worker for Catskill, NY to support daily farm operations within a pharmaceutical environment. The role includes assisting with flock removal, bird moves, and bird sales, performing house recycling tasks, and conducting minor equipment repairs.

The position offers direct hire with opportunities for long-term employment and career growth. The candidate will work outdoors in varying weather, handle moderate physical tasks, and adhere to biosecurity requirements.

Qualifications

• Basic maintenance skills and experience; basic carpentry skills and experience.
• 1-2 years related experience and/or training.
• An equivalent combination of education and experience may be accepted as a satisfactory substitute for the specific education and experience listed above.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Assist with flock removal, bird moves and bird sales.
• Perform other farm related activities.
• Perform house recycles including disassembly of houses and related equipment, washing, repairing, sanitizing and reassembling of houses.
• Perform minor equipment repair.
