Job summary

Commander, Navy Installations Command at Naval Air Station Jacksonville in Florida manages the Bingo operation within the Morale, Welfare and Recreation Department. This role assists the Bingo Program Manager, helps operate and control the program, and supports budgeting and procurement to ensure smooth events.

Qualifications include 6 months of general and 6 months of specialized experience or 2 years of recreation-related study.

Qualifications

6 months or more of general experience AND 6 months or more of specialized experience OR Successful completion of 2 years of study that included at least 12 semester hours in courses related to recreation.
Flex schedule is based on mission needs and availability.

Responsibilities

Assist in the operation and control of the Bingo program according to policies and guidelines.
Assist in budget preparation for the Bingo program.
Assist in procurement of merchandise, goods and services and proper storage to prevent pilferage.
Inventories supplies and supervise Bingo Recreation Aides.
Train, evaluate, counsel and discipline employees; prepare work schedules.
Set up and store Bingo equipment; ensure the facility is neat, safe and compliant.
