Job summary

DCG ONE in Upper Marlboro, MD is seeking a Bindery Helper to assist in the Bindery/Finishing department on the production floor. The role offers an hourly wage of $17.00–$18.00 and requires the ability to pass Public Trust Security Clearance.

Typical duties include operating shop machinery, reading specifications for adjustments, and performing routine maintenance while ensuring quality and safety on a loud production floor. Benefits are provided as part of a comprehensive package.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a bindery preferred.
• Must be able to complete and pass Public Trust Security Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Assist in operating the shop machinery and equipment.
• Read job specifications to determine machine adjustments and material requirements.
• Observe machine operation to detect workpiece defects or machine malfunction.
• Measure workpiece dimensions to determine the accuracy of machine operation.
• Remove defective products from workpiece.
• Perform minor machine maintenance such as oiling machines, dies, or workpieces.
• Set up and perform maintenance on machines.
• Perform related duties as assigned by supervision
