Job summary

Sheridan Ohio is seeking an Assistant Manufacturing Technician-Bindery for the night shift (7pm–7am) on a full-time basis. We’ll train you to run high-speed bindery equipment and contribute to producing books, catalogs, and printed materials.

Learn to operate cutters, folders, stitchers, and binders, monitor quality, support a fast-paced team, and follow safety procedures. Overtime opportunities and a shift differential make this a strong entry into print manufacturing.

Qualifications

• Experience operating machinery in any industry.
• Mechanically inclined and able to use basic tools.
• Able to read decimals and measurements.
• Reliable and team-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Learn to operate bindery equipment (cutters, folders, stitchers, perfect binders).
• Keep machines running smoothly by making adjustments and monitoring quality.
• Work as part of a team to hit daily production goals.
• Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards.
• Troubleshoot minor issues and keep production moving.
• Follow safety procedures and help maintain a clean, organized workspace.
