Job summary

Walsworth-Eau Claire is hiring a Bindery - Assistant for 2nd shift to support daily operations across bindery equipment. You will handle material movement, assist with job setup, and help maintain a clean, safe, and efficient workspace.

The role emphasizes teamwork, reliability, and the ability to follow written and verbal instructions. Proficiency with basic computer applications is beneficial; overtime may be required depending on production needs.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to remain organized and self-directed in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills including strong customer service skills.
• Ability to learn computer applications as necessary for the position.
• Ability to read, interpret and follow verbal and written instructions, work procedures and other related materials.
• Ability to work overtime beyond the standard 40-hour workweek depending on production requirements.
• Must communicate appropriate information accurately and clearly as needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform general labor tasks such as material handling, staging and loading products.
• Assist machine operators with job set-up and basic tasks as needed.
• Ensure cleanliness and organization of assigned areas by sweeping disposing of waste and maintaining supply levels.
• Follow all safety procedures as set forth by Walsworth.
• Operate basic tools and equipment safely and as directed.
• Read and understand the written information pertaining to the job.
• All other duties as assigned.
