Job summary

Rite in the Rain in Tacoma, WA seeks an Assembler II to produce quality paper products by operating binding machinery and assembling components for standard and custom orders. The role involves handling various materials, performing quality checks, and maintaining a clean, safe work area.

The position is full-time with a Mon-Fri schedule, evening shift 2:30 - 11:00 PM. Training occurs on the day shift, 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM, and candidates should be able to lift up to 50 pounds and work at multiple

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Two years of experience or training in printing or related industry and the proven manual dexterity for operating machinery.
• Demonstrated ability in basic reading, writing and arithmetic skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Operate production line machinery and computers, including the small cutter and auto punch.
• Work at different workstations as production needs require and assemble parts passing units to the next station.
• Make adjustments to produce a product within quality specifications and reject items outside spec.
• Stack completed items, notify supervisor of malfunctions, and complete job tracking logs.
• Follow safety rules, organize and maintain the work area, and perform preventive maintenance.
