Job summary

Rite in the Rain seeks an Assembler II to produce quality paper products by operating production line machinery, including a small cutter and auto punch, and by assembling covers for booklets, pamphlets and notebooks.

You will collate materials into finished items, ensure adherence to quality specs, and pass units to the next station. Schedule is Mon-Fri, 2:30–11:00 PM in Tacoma, WA; training shifts are day shift 6:00 AM–2:30 PM.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Two years of experience in printing or related industry and proven manual dexterity.
• Ability to read, write and perform basic arithmetic.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Operate production line machinery and computers, including small cutter and auto punch.
• Work at different stations as production needs require and assemble parts.
• Maintain safety and housekeeping and perform preventive maintenance as needed.
• Communicate status to supervisors and complete job tracking logs.
