Job summary

Sheridan New Hampshire is seeking a Machine Operator to learn on high-speed bindery equipment. We will train you to run cutters, folders, stitchers, and perfect binders while maintaining safety.

You will join a four-person team on a full-time shift with overtime opportunities. No bindery experience? No problem—we'll train you and help you grow a long-term career in print manufacturing.

Qualifications

• Experience operating machinery in any industry (manufacturing, warehouse, trades, etc.)
• Mechanically inclined and comfortable using basic tools
• Able to read basic job instructions and measurements (decimals, sizes, etc.)
• Take pride in doing quality work
• Reliable and works well with a team
• Print, bindery, or finishing experience is a plus
• Experience setting up or adjusting production equipment is a plus

Responsibilities

• Learn to operate and set up bindery equipment (cutters, folders, stitchers, and perfect binders)
• Keep machines running smoothly by making adjustments and monitoring quality
• Work as part of a team to hit daily production goals
• Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards
• Troubleshoot minor issues and keep production moving
• Follow safety procedures and help maintain a clean, organized workspace
