Job summary

RRD Company is seeking a Bindery Specialist in Brenham, TX. You will set up and operate a variety of binding equipment to convert printed sheets into final books and catalogs, while ensuring quality and safety. You will supervise crew, adjust multiple stations, and train new team members to maintain productivity.

The role requires familiarity with paper weights and machine operations, with duties including monitoring output and coordinating tooling across stations.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with different paper weights, sizes, kinds and colors to identify paper conditions.
• Familiarity with basic mathematics to understand dimensional requirements.
• Ability to use tools to adjust and maintain bindery machines.
• Read and interpret written work indicating machine operations and sequencing.
• Knowledge of binding equipment setup, adjustment and operation.

Responsibilities

• Set up, adjust and operate bindery machines and related equipment.
• Direct crew through all production aspects and monitor output.
• Inspect equipment for safety and maintain quality standards.
• Make adjustments to coordinate multiple work stations on a machine.
• Train and support new and existing team members.
