Job summary

RR Donnelley in Orlando, FL is seeking a Printing and Bindery Specialist (Army MOS: 83F) to set up, adjust and operate a variety of bindery equipment, including inkjet devices, case making, folding, cutting and binding systems. You will supervise crew, monitor quality, and ensure safe operation across multiple workstations.

Starting pay ranges from $18.05 to $25.77 per hour, with potential for pay progression based on education, qualifications, and performance.

Qualifications

• Read and interpret work orders for bindery requirements.
• Calculate distances, clearances, and fits for machines.
• Set up and operate bindery equipment and finishing units.
• Understand paper stock quality and finishing options.

Responsibilities

• Set up, adjust and operate bindery equipment with multiple functions.
• Inspect equipment for safety issues and ensure quality output.
• Direct crew through production across multiple stations.
• Monitor productivity and maintain dimensional accuracy.
• Coordinate adjustments for weight and finish of stock.
• Ensure finished books/catalogs meet specifications.
