Job summary

DCG ONE in Seattle is seeking a skilled Bindery Operator to run multiple bindery and finishing machines. You will manage stitchers, cutters, folders and gluers with a track record of reliable, on-time production in a fast-paced print environment.

The role emphasizes quality output, meeting deadlines and maintaining a clean, safe work area while performing preventive maintenance and reporting issues to the program manager. This is a stable opportunity in a growing company.

Qualifications

• Minimum five (5) years of experience in Bindery/Finishing machine operation.
• Must be able to complete and pass a Public Trust Security Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Overall responsibility for on-time machine operations in the Bindery department.
• Ensures that assembly practices comply with established policies and procedures.
• Troubleshoot problems and report findings to the appropriate program manager and departmental managerial team.
• Perform typical Bindery operations to support the assembly floor.
• Detect and report defective materials or questionable conditions to the department supervisor.
• Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follows prescribed safety regulations.
• Perform prescribed preventative maintenance on machines.
