Job summary

RRD is seeking a Bindery Operator (Cutter, Folder, or Stitcher) on the 1st Shift to set up, operate, and monitor a range of bindery equipment, ensuring quality and efficiency. The role requires reading work orders, adjusting machines, and mentoring team members in a fast-paced production environment.

Starting hourly compensation ranges from $18.17 to $27.80, with pay progression based on performance, shift, and experience.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret work orders or specifications.
• Calculate distances, clearances, and fits for combining machines.
• Operate and adjust bindery machines to meet specifications.
• Knowledge of the set up and operation of automatic bindery machines.
• Maintain quality and accuracy of finished products.
• Understand paper stock types and finishing requirements.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate bindery machines with multiple functions.
• Inspect equipment for safety issues and performance.
• Direct crew through production processes.
• Monitor quality, output and productivity.
• Train and mentor new and existing employees.
• Maintain adherence to company policies and procedures.
