Job summary

Moore is seeking a Bindery Supervisor to lead the Bindery Department on the second shift (2:00 PM–10:00 PM). The role requires supervising personnel, ensuring quality and accuracy of jobs, training staff, and coordinating daily production schedules.

The ideal candidate will have 3–5 years of related experience, knowledge of MBO roll and sheet folders, Stahl folders, Polar cutters, Muller saddle stitchers, and Palamides banders, and a forklift certification is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; 3–5 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must have knowledge of MBO roll and sheet folders, Stahl sheet folders, Polar cutters, Muller saddle stitchers, and Palamides banders.
• Must be familiar with personalized mail of all kinds.
• Forklift certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.
• Training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
• Attends monthly Managers and Monthly Safety Meetings; conducts daily schedule meetings.
• Implements department goals, strategies, and procedures; develops action plans to realize internal goals.
