Job summary

Marketing.com is seeking a Machine Operator to oversee all phases of the operation and maintenance of the bindery equipment. Interfaces with supervision and line employees to ensure product is produced efficiently within quality specifications and is willing to learn the operation and maintenance of all types of bindery machinery.

The role requires operating multiple bindery machines, setting up jobs, quality checks, routine maintenance, and teamwork.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Learn and apply information quickly.
• Be versatile and able to shift quickly between duties.
• Team oriented and willing to work for the good of the total team.
• Must have reliable transportation and be able to work days, nights, weekdays, weekends, holidays and overtime when needed.

Responsibilities

• Operate multiple types of bindery machinery (cutters, stitchers and folders) in an efficient manner according to company standards for large commercial print.
• Set up and follow through on products from start to finish according to job tickets.
• Pull sheets to check quality and accuracy of work.
• Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on machinery as needed.
• Assist in the completion of records and job ticket information as required.
• Maintain housekeeping to company standards.
• Other duties as assigned
