Bindery Machine Operator

Summary

RPI, a global leader in print-on demand, is currently seeking an experienced and highly motivated Bindery Casemaker operator. Casemaker operators are responsible for producing high quality, high output image-wrapped covers. The primary function of this role is to set up and operate our Kolbus DA-260 casing-in machine. Other responsibilities include operating GP2 SC2 casing-in devices and other general bindery duties, as needed.

This is a full-time position that requires working flexible hours as volumes increase or decrease. During certain times of the year, overtime is mandatory, including weekend shifts.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate casing-in devices.
• Ensure all orders are produced within production time frames.
• Produce high quantity without sacrificing quality.
• Strong mechanical aptitude to perform maintenance functions and minor repairs.
• Able to keep machines and work area organized and clean.
• Team player that executes daily plans from supervisors.
• Trains other operators.
• Willing to take on other equipment responsibilities.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Experience:

• Minimum 2 years experience in fast paced manufacturing operator role. Print manufacturing operations a plus.
• High school diploma, or equivalent.
