Job summary

Randstad USA in Hopkins, MN is seeking a detail-oriented Bindery/Finishing Operator. You will set up and operate bindery/finishing equipment, ensuring production deadlines and quality standards are consistently met.

Responsibilities include reading work orders, trimming edges, stitching or gluing endpapers and bindings, and performing quality inspections. No degree required; 1–3 years experience preferred. 8 AM–4 PM shifts available.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years in a print bindery/finishing setting.
• Ability to read detailed job specifications and mechanical setup instructions.
• Strong visual eye for catching print and finishing flaws.

Responsibilities

• Read work orders to set up, adjust, and run bindery machines for various sizes.
• Trim book edges and stitch or glue endpapers, bindings, and signatures.
• Inspect samples for defects and make real-time accept/reject decisions.
• Perform daily maintenance and follow safety policies.
• Keep work areas and equipment clean and organized.
