Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Virtual Design and Construction Technician to develop, maintain and operate BIMs for modular unit design, manufacturing, construction, and operations. The role requires a versatile CAD/BIM skill set and the ability to learn new software as technology evolves.

The candidate will work with the Design, Factory Operations, and VDC teams to create and maintain documents as designs change, ensure production drawings align with factory standards, and improve manufacturing

Qualifications

• Draft, design, and interpret engineering drawings in Revit, AutoCAD, and other BIM software.
• Develop and model site logistics and construction sequencing animations with factory and construction teams.
• Maintain BIM data across design, manufacturing, construction, operations, and facilities management.
• Create Revit families and maintain libraries as specifications change.

Responsibilities

• Draft and interpret engineering drawings in Revit and AutoCAD.
• Model site logistics and sequencing animations with teams.
• Support continuous improvement of manufacturing processes.
• Maintain BIM data across project lifecycle.
• Create Revit families and update libraries.
• Develop field install details for inspectors.
