Greystar is seeking a Virtual Design & Construction Technician to support the Design, Factory Operations, and VDC teams. The role involves creating and maintaining BIMs for modular design, manufacturing and construction, with emphasis on Revit and AutoCAD and a willingness to learn new software as technology evolves.

The position requires drafting and modeling capabilities, BIM data maintenance across the project lifecycle, and collaboration with engineers, vendors, and field teams to ensure

Qualifikationen

• Drafting, designing, and interpreting engineering drawings in Revit, AutoCAD, and BIM software.
• Develop and model site logistics and construction sequencing animations with factory and construction teams.
• Maintain BIM data across design, manufacturing, construction, operations, and facilities management.
• Create Revit Families and maintain libraries as specs change.
• Improve manufacturing processes and ensure product and process quality.

Aufgaben

• Draft, design, and interpret engineering drawings in BIM software.
• Model site logistics and construction sequencing animations with teams.
• Maintain BIM data across project lifecycle and facilities management.
• Create Revit Families and update libraries per vendor specs.
• Identify operational issues and help design productivity improvements.
• Contribute to QA/QC processes for factory operations.
